OUR IDENTITY

Roots that move forward

We honour tradition by embracing innovation, with respect for people and the land, using modern tools to keep the environment pristine.

Rosciano, Villa Oliveti — a place built for farming and winemaking.

The Tratturo Estate, where the first farmhouse was built and where the winery’s activity originally began, is
placed in front of the tratturo,an old path, from which it takes its name and on which flocks walked for
centuries.

Between olive groves, vineyards and holm oaks, Dante and later Enrico Marramiero turned vine
growing into vitiCulture, lifting wine from family table to a worldclass product.

“WE WANT OUR WINES TO BE PARTNERS IN EMOTION, CHALLENGING TIMES FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION”

We know every vine and tend it daily with gestures handed down through the years, combined with ongoing viticulture research and training.

Each wine’s personality begins in the vineyard and is refined in the cellar.

The wisdom of tradition and the most modern technologies come together in our ongoing pursuit of perfection. Fermentation takes place in barriques, stainless tanks and Ganimede Fermenters; cellar ageing can reach twentyfour months.

The cellar keeps constant temperatures and the berries are sorted with the XTRI optical selector using fluorescence and infrared that discards any impurity. Modern presses and fermenters preserve the fruit’s purity and carry excellence into every Marramiero bottle.
