Eternal Nature's Rebirth

Eternal Nature's Rebirth

pecorino

ABRUZZO D.O.C.

celebration of life

Ancient ceremonies were held at two times of the year, in autumn and in spring, and represented the perpetual rest and awakening of nature in the countryside, the “Celebration of Life” whose strength and rebirth are reflected in the ear of wheat.

Cyclicality and regeneration are rites of passage that mark the essential moments of life, such as transhumance during which flocks moved along the ancient drove roads from the hilly and mountainous areas to the seaside shores in the winter season and back along the opposite route in summer, feeding on the “Pecorino” grapes along the way.
