The name celebrates its terroir of origin, characterized by soil with a high limestone content, a determining factor for production excellence:
• Hidden Complexity: The limestone matrix of the soil acts as a natural reserve of nutrients and water, especially during dry seasons. Furthermore, the mature vines, with their roots deep in the earth, are able to firmly anchor themselves in the subsoil and benefit from the true characteristics of the land, imparting a distinct “taste” to the wine.
• Sensory Profile: This pedoclimatic conformation translates into a pronounced minerality and sapidity, which define the wine’s structure and longevity.
• Rigorous Selection: Although the quality of the product remains faithful to our tradition, “Colle delle Pietre” benefits from an even more meticulous grape selection, choosing the best bunches from the most balanced vines. The new Burgundy bottle and the updated label reflect this positioning.
This is a tribute to the land that sustains us every day, which marks the boundary between family and sharing. For this reason, the path of our winery will be, from now on, a journey back to the origins and the direct legacy of our ancestors.
